Privacy Policy
WKit ("we", "us", "our") is a creator tools platform at wkit.app. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
Information We Collect
- Account information, including your name and email address when you sign up.
- Google account data. When you connect Google Calendar, we access your Google Calendar to create booking events and check availability. We store your Google OAuth tokens securely to maintain this connection.
- Booking data, including details of sessions booked by your clients, such as name, email, time, and session type.
- Usage data, including page views, clicks, and conversion metrics for your published pages.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide the WKit platform and its features.
- To create Google Calendar events when a client books a session with you.
- To check your Google Calendar availability to prevent double bookings.
- To generate Google Meet links for your booked sessions.
- To display analytics on your dashboard.
- We do not sell, share, transfer, or disclose your data to third parties.
Google Calendar and Google Meet Data
When you connect your Google Calendar, WKit accesses your calendar solely to: (1) create calendar events when a client books a session, (2) read your availability to prevent double bookings, and (3) generate Google Meet video call links for your sessions. We request only the minimum permissions needed.
WKit does not sell, share, transfer, or disclose your Google user data (including Google Calendar data) to any third party, external service, or third-party AI platform. Your Google Calendar data is used exclusively within WKit's backend to provide the booking functionality described above. It is not used for advertising, analytics profiling, AI model training, or any purpose beyond operating your booking page.
WKit uses the Google Gemini API solely to help creators generate marketing copy (such as page headlines and descriptions) from creator-provided inputs. No Google Calendar data or Google user data is passed to Gemini or any AI service at any point.
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your Settings page, which will immediately revoke our access and delete your stored OAuth tokens. If you delete your WKit account, all associated Google Calendar tokens and linked data are permanently deleted within 30 days.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data Storage and Security
- Data is stored securely using Google Firebase and Firestore.
- OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest.
- We do not store your Google Calendar event content beyond what is needed to create booking events.
- Google OAuth tokens are retained only while your Google Calendar integration is active. Disconnecting removes them immediately. Account deletion removes all associated data within 30 days.
Your Rights
- You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings.
- You can delete your WKit account by contacting support.
- You can request a copy of your data by emailing support.
